Here’s my recipe for early stages of cough and cold which I prepared for my husband who frequently caught the sniffles. This is because of his asthmatic condition and tendency to fall sick easily. It’s good for changing weather conditions and for those who are allergic to dust or pollen.
- 1 inch ginger sliced
- 1 bunch mint leaves
- 5 strawberries sliced
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp black pepper powder
- Boil all the ingredients.
- Add juice of 1 lime and 2-3 tbsp honey
- Strain the liquid and drink hot
