Description
We send this Snail Planter out in loving memory of those friends and family members who have struggled with hiding or taking care of their scars, burns and marks with various products and services. It’s a simple clay pot which was created by others and painted over a conversational meal with friends. Whether it is Food/Cooking therapy or art therapy – they are all important in their own way.
Bingo!
Creativity needs to be nurtured and protected as a tool for self-expression.
I have my own issues, and I sometimes hide them. I do feel each person has their own limitations with respect to opening up.
What can we do?
Why not stretch a bit to help others who are stiff necked or prefer the stiff upper lip? Nothing wrong with stretch marks!
Remind me of tiger stripes. Have you heard of “Tiger moms”? What about “Tiger Dads”? How come everything is centered around mothers and not fathers when it comes to talking about parenting? Anyhow, think about it- marks, stretches, burns and wounds are common for all.
I see too many other influences and influencers on kids these days with little control. So- is that also a problem? Buuuuurnnnn!

This Snail Planter is ideal for small succulents or even as a pen stand in memory of scars, burns, stretch marks and more.
It is a thoughtful gift for those who don’t run away from their issues… Read more about some of my learnings from another teacher below.
